Since 1996
Ukrainian woodworking company
About us
The history of UDK began long before its official establishment. As early as 1996, the site of the future enterprise housed lumber drying chambers — a foundational stage that shaped the company’s future direction.
2002
UDK was founded by Oleksii Kosobutskyi. The company’s development started on the premises of a former Soviet factory that once produced handcrafted woodworking tools such as hand planes, jointers, squares, scrub planes, rebate planes, mallets, and bow saws. The founder made a strategic decision to preserve the woodworking profile and build a next-generation manufacturing company.
In its early years, UDK focused on advanced and precise wood drying technologies. Over time, the enterprise mastered professional sawing and conditioning, steadily expanding its production capabilities.
2006
Launch of moulding production.
2008
Start of manufacturing solid-wood panels and joinery components.
2024
Leadership of the company is transferred to Mykola Kosobutskyi, son of the founder, continuing the family heritage.
2025
Launch of a new direction: parquet production.
Today, UDK is a family-owned business built on continuity, craftsmanship, and respect for wood. We grow together with our clients, develop technologies, modernize equipment, and create products designed to serve for decades.
